Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE) has introduced a range of cans with images of footballs and famous Brazilian landmarks – such as the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro.
CCE is giving away up to 1M limited edition Coca‑Cola footballs across Great Britain until the tournament ends on July 13.
To have a chance of winning, a unique code from a promotional pack must be entered at www.winaball.co.uk. For every valid entry made, CCE will donate 10p to StreetGames, a charity which brings doorstep sports to young people in disadvantaged communities across the UK.
Nick Canney, vice president sales and marketing at CCE, recommended retailers stock up on the promotional packs to capitalise on potential consumer demand.
“This summer represents a strong sales opportunity for retailers,” he added. “Matches will take place when people are typically at home and looking to celebrate the games together with friends and family, either as part of an evening meal or by throwing a themed party.”
