Budweiser lets fans get their hands on the World Cup
Brewer Budweiser has given football fans the chance to get their hands on the World Cup trophy by releasing a range of bottles designed to look like the most sought-after prize in world football.
The limited edition aluminium trophy bottle is available in more than 40 countries, and will serve as the centrepiece of the brand’s World Cup packaging, the firm said.
A limited edition World Cup can will also be available across retailers and convenience.
As the official beer sponsor of World Cup, Budweiser’s packaging also includes limited edition glass bottles, cans and secondary packaging, which is also available globally.
Budweiser is also running its ‘Rise As One’ advertising campaign, which includes a national on-pack consumer promotion giving the opportunity to attend the World Cup in Brazil.
Consumers will also have the chance to win other prizes through a number of routes, including scan to win and collect to win mechanics.
