Dutch Lady Milk Industries Berhad to build new production facility in Malaysia
The scope of Royal HaskoningDHV will include design, procurement, construction management, commissioning and start-up of the facility, as well as assistance in the transfer from the existing factory to the new facilities at Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan, which is close to the capital, Kuala Lumpur, and in proximity to the international airport.
The new facility will be approximately 70km from the existing facility, which DLMI has used since 1963, in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, which is a part of the Greater Kuala Lumpur area.
The company said safety, health, the environment and sustainability will be at the heart of the design of the new factory.

DLMI said the facility will allow it to grow and contribute to the development of the Malaysian economy and the local dairy sector. In addition, it said the new facility will help increase Negeri Sembilan’s competitiveness to attract new investments and to create new spin-off economic benefits to the local economy as well as to vendors.
