The 2020 NutraIngredients-Asia Awards are back with four new categories, but the same commitment to honour the best and brightest in ingredients, finished products, companies, people, and initiatives in the dietary supplements and functional foods industries.

Entries for the awards are now open across 14 categories, and here are seven good reasons why you should enter...

IT HELPS YOU STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD

Yes, all awards do this, but Nutraingredients-Asia is a respected and trusted leader in this industry, and so winning a Nutraingredients-Asia Award is significant. We already see our finalists and winners from 2018 and 2019 displaying their achievements in advertisements and at trade shows. You, too, could join the select list of finalists and winners.

WE FOCUS ON ALL AREAS OF THE INDUSTRY

Last year, the Nutrition Research Project recognised the Benefits of LipiSperse – a dispersion technology application as an exemplary research study in the improvement in bioavailability, while the Nutrigenomix Plant-Based Personalised Nutrition & Fitness Report went home with the Personalised Nutrition Initiative trophy. Our awards go beyond ingredients and products and give other stakeholders the chance to shine.

OUR NUTRACHAMPIONS

The industry has a lot of giants, people who have built successful companies and organisations, and had a lasting impact on the health and wellness of the APAC region. Our NutraChampions to date include Prof. Christiani Jeyakumar Henry (Clinical Nutrition Research Centre, Singapore) and Inger Reidun Aukrust, Ph.D (Vice President R&D & Chemistry at Kappa Bioscience). Both of them have made profound contributions to the industry. It is an honour for us to recognise these people, particularly those who have done so much, often behind-the-scenes.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR THE NEXT BIG THING

Our Start-Up category recognises those companies that are up-and-coming and are doing it the right way, building their businesses on strong science, robust partnerships and collaborations, and exemplary ethics. Previous winners include Vitality Wellness and Pharmako Biotechnologies. Does your Start-Up have what it takes?

WE’VE ADDED CATEGORIES FOR 2020

The 2020 awards have four new categories: Ingredient of the Year: Prebiotic; Ingredient of the Year: Cognitive Function; Product of the Year: Sports Nutrition; and Editors Award for Infant & Child Nutrition Initiative of the Year. We now have 14 categories across ingredients, finished products, people, companies, and initiatives.

OUR JUDGES

Only two of the awards are judged exclusively by the editorial team at Nutraingredients-Asia. The other 12 categories are judged by independent industry experts. Being named a finalist or a winner means you’ve convinced some of the most respected and knowledgeable people there are, and that makes your achievement even more impressive.

EDITORIAL COVERAGE

Being named a finalist — and of course winning as well — are newsworthy events. The articles we write about the awards put the names of participating companies in front of our readership, which is the most engaged in the business, as Nutraingredients-Asia is the No. 1 daily news resource for the dietary supplement industry.

Visit the awards website and submit your entries today!

The awards will be broadcast on our website and social media channels on September 22.
