South East Asian e-commerce giants RedMart, global grocery market experts IGD and consumer trend specialists the Healthy Marketing Team will kick-start our second Healthy Ageing APAC Summit with a brand new InnovAGE session.

They will help shine the spotlight on the latest innovations across APAC's food and nutrition space by providing bite-sized insights spanning retail, products, and company culture.

We'll be hearing from Shirley Zhu, Programme Director at IGD, who will reveal the latest developments across APAC's retailer landscape. Key takeaways will include how the region's retailers are innovating to meet the needs of senior consumers, as well as tapping into the growing trend of healthier options across all life stages.

We’ll also be joined by Richard Ruddy, Chief Retail Officer at Lazada, the owner of Redmart, who will reveal the latest consumer trends around meat alternatives, free-from, as well as exploring the opportunities for own-label products.

Last but not least, Deepak Gunvante, expert consultant at The Healthy Marketing Team, will assess what it means to be an innovator in the health products space, and how to foster the ideal culture for innovation to thrive.

The Healthy Ageing APAC Summit, organised by FoodNavigator-Asia and NutraIngredients-Asia takes pace at the Hilton hotel, Singapore, from July 9-11.

With the number of over-60s in Asia set to double to 1.3 billion by 2050, the event will look at how the nutrition and food industry can meet the needs of the rapidly ageing populations of today, and more crucially, tomorrow.

This means we'll be shining the spotlight on the latest product innovations, ingredient discoveries, and research targeted at older consumers, while also assessing what industry is doing to improve the health of younger consumers, so they can ultimately lead a more active and healthy life, and enjoy their golden years for longer in the future.

The 2018 summit was attended by over 170 delegates from across the globe, with 90% revealing in a feedback survey that it met or exceeded their expectations. 85% said it provided significant value to their business.

Confirmed speakers at the event, which takes place at Singapore's Hilton hotel from July 9-11, include:
