ADM brings its functional ingredients capabilities to Hong Kong

Textura crisps can be a good source of high quality protein, fibre and whole grains, which can be incorporated into food products by manufacturers to enhance nutrient content, texture and flavour cost-effectively, across a wide variety of applications. 

Cereal bars, cereals and healthful snacks are just some of the products in which protein crisps can be applied.

Depending on the needs of the individual product formulations, Textura crisps are available in a range of protein contents, and can be tailored to add fibre or characterise flavours to numerous applications. 

ADM will also present Clarisoy, an isolated soy protein line which enables protein fortification of beverage systems. 

As the world’s first vegetable-based protein offering clarity and high-quality protein nutrition, the Clarisoy line has been designed for use in low-pH and neutral beverage applications, and is an excellent dairy-replacement protein.

Visitors to the ADM booth can also learn about CardioAid, a range of plant sterols and sterol esters, which can be used in a variety of food and beverage applications. The line is targeted at improving heart health, as plant sterols have been shown to reduce cholesterol levels.

Formulators can also learn about ADM’s highly functional dietary fibre, Fibersol. Fibersol is virtually tasteless, odourless and readily dispersible, making it ideal for all types of beverages, processed foods and dietary supplements. 

Fibersol increases fibre content in products and can also extend shelf life in certain applications.

In keeping with the theme of good health, ADM will also offer Novasoy soy isoflavones, whose functional benefits include reducing the frequency and severity of hot flashes during menopause, and are suitable for use in dietary supplements, functional foods and beverages. 

Other highlights include Novatol, Vitamin E from a natural source needed by the body to protect cells and support natural defences, as well as Decanox, a range of natural antioxidants for food, feed and cosmetic use.
