New Singapore facilities aim to bring market closer to CP Kelco
“As CP Kelco’s first centre of excellence based in Asia, the facility in Singapore enables us to strategically implement the transfer of technology from our other research facilities and innovate locally to further the success of our customers in the East,” said Didier Viala, the US company’s senior vice-president for growth and innovation.
The South Asia hub will serve as a cross-functional support centre for customers in Southeast Asia, as well as in India, Australia and New Zealand, while the centre of excellence sets out to bring CP Kelco’s expertise in dairy beverage applications closer to customers in Asia.
“With the South Asia hub’s improved space use and greater resources, the CP Kelco team will be better equipped to help its customers succeed and prosper,” said Pierre Perez y Landazuri, CP Kelco’s regional vice-resident.
“The dairy beverage centre of excellence enhances our ability to develop new solutions for our customers across the entire region, and eventually globally, helping them to introduce innovative concepts to the market more rapidly.”
