Cadbury India becomes Mondelēz India Foods Limited

Mondelēz International subsidiary Cadbury India has changed its name to Mondelez India Foods Limited.

The company’s Cadbury branded products such as Dairy Milk and Bournville will continue to be sold in Cadbury packaging, but a Mondelēz International logo will be added to the back of the packages.

Manu Anand, managing director, Mondelez India Foods Limited said: “With the change in name of the company to Mondelez India Foods Limited, we conclude the process of transition that began over two years ago.”

Mondelēz is the chocolate market leader in India with a 56% market share, according to Euromonitor International.

The company is in the process of gradually changing all Cadbury subsidiaries to the Mondelēz International name.
