Fenchem Malaysian business booming
Chinese ingredients company Fenchem Biotek Ltd’s Malaysian operations now account for 10% of its entire business.
Fenchem specialises in manufacturing active ingredients for the dietary supplements and functional food markets as well as feed industries.
Established and based in Nanjing China, it has operations in the US and Czech Republic and most recently Malaysia.
Earlier in the year, the company set up two warehouses in the south and north of Malaysia to cater to the Southeast Asian domestic markets and sales have been steadily increasing over the past months.
It supplies ingredients to the dietary supplements and functional foods markets in Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines.
It also works in the Southeast to supply specialised local ingredients to manufacturers globally.
