According to the company, it will introduce products in more affordable range targeting the mass market in the country.
This new strategy will see the company bringing its products in different sizes and formats and at different price points, including introducing fruit juices in PET bottles of 500 ml over and above the existing cans of 240 ml.
The company will also launch products in sachets. It confirmed that it had recently introduced the Del Monte brand of ketchup and sauces in sachets at very low price points to cater to the volume segment.
FieldFresh is a joint venture between Bharti Enterprises and Del Monte Pacific.
Field Fresh is also looking to double its retail presence to 100,000 outlets in the next one year.
