An Indian lamb curry has been found with no lamb and a “mystery meat” rumoured to be dog, according to an analysis done for a BBC Three programme aired this week.

The takeaway was bought in London, UK and DNA testing ruled out beef, chicken, pork, goat, horse and human as the meat product.

The filmmakers gathered some young diners disgusted at eating horse for The Horsemeat Banquet programme in an attempt to change perceptions about some foods.

Tests also found a chinese beef in black bean sauce meal containing mostly chicken blood and other material and just a little bit of beef, according to UK media.
