Ingredion expands Singapore site for product development

Ingredion will grow its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore with a new R&D centre and sensory and culinary facilities.

The US-based company already has 15 offices in 12 Asia-Pacific countries, with seven manufacturing plants in Australia, China, South Korea and Thailand. The new site in Singapore will see staff work on technical advancements in food ingredients and end product development.

With more than 30 years’ experience of serving customers in Asia, we are reaching a critical point where increasing our footprint, services, capabilities and innovations in the region is key to our growth strategy​,” said Jorgen Kokke, who was recently named Ingredion’s vice-president for Asia-Pacific.
