Rexam boosts Indian beverage can output to 950m
Rexam has opened a new aluminium line in India costing circa. 30m that increases the plants capacity to around 950m cans per year, and said the investment fitted its strategy to invest in 'faster moving markets'.

The investment has been made in the new high speed line at Rexam's manufacturing site in Taloja, Maharashtra.

Graham Chipchase, CEO, said: "This investment...will support and enable us to take advantage of the exciting opportunities the Indian market has for beverage can packaging.”
