Purac said it has gained BRC certification across all its production sites including facilities in the US, the Netherlands, Spain, Brazil and Thailand.

A growing number of retailers and major manufacturers in Europe and North America require this independent certification, recognized as a GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) benchmarked food safety scheme, from their suppliers.

A division of Dutch firm CSM, food preservation supplier Purac's core portfolio is based on lactates and lactic acid.
