Danone has launched a new brand of fortified, milk-based products for children throughout India.

The Fundooz brand is a range of milk-based products, fortified with nutrients such as Vitamin A, Iron, Zinc and Iodine.

The new brand, Fundooz, is in its initial phase with the launch of two products - a strawberry and vanilla version called Yum Creamy and a chocolate and kulfi flavours one called Yum Chuski. The company said these will be available in over 1,000 outlets throughout India.

Director of Danone BoP India, Eric Soubeiran said: “Fundooz is the result of close to three years’ work to understand the food habits and nutritional deficiencies in India, particularly among young children, and we feel we can make a positive contribution here.”
