Cat lovers need never drink alone again thanks to Japanese pet supplement company B&H Lifes, which has developed a wine product for felines.

According to media reports, B&H Lifes developed the product, Nyan Nyan Nouveau, for those wanting to toast a special occasion, such as a birthday or Christmas, with their cat(s).

But don’t be rushing to call the World Society for the Protection of Animals just yet! Nyan Nyan Nouveau, which references the Japanese word for meow (nyan), doesn’t actually contain any alcohol.

It is made with the juice of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, a pinch of catnip, and added vitamin C.

B&H Lifes has produced just 1,000 bottles of Nyan Nyan Nouveau. The bottles, which are on sale in Japan only, cost 399 yen ($4.00, €3.00) each.
