Zacpac Queensland corrugated packaging litho cartons
Australian packaging company Zacpac has opened a $25m AUD ($22m USD) manufacturing facility in Stapylton, Queensland.

The 8,000sqm facility will ‘significantly expand’ the company’s production of corrugated packaging, litho laminated packaging, and litho cartons once fully operational in early 2015.

The production hub will employ 30 people by the end of the year, and hopes to employ more than 100 in 2015.

John Zac, a company director, Zacpac, said: “The latest expansion is all about living up to new clients’ expectations while maintaining service for our existing customers.

“A project like this does not happen overnight. We will begin employing new staff as we add new machinery, and with each new machine we install, we will need more people at the company, thus creating more jobs.”

Zacpac has grown by more than 30% year on year in the last three years. Its clients range from multinational companies in the food and beverage markets, to small local businesses working out of rental factories.
